Liza requested a painted window sash for her 8th wedding anniversary. They were married on a waxing crescent moon. The cauldron represents their relationship. The various botanicals and imagery surrounding the cauldron were specifically chosen to symbolize the special memories of their union. We spent some time working on the look of the cauldron, which started out more whimsical; but ended up evolving into a more ancient vessel. I'm still amazed at how well it came to life. It's the most beautiful cauldron I have ever seen!
