A local couple asked me to paint a trio of botanicals on an old basement window from their home. Each flower represents a special person in their lives. I love how it turned out. The middle flower, edelweiss is not native to any region in which I have lived, therefore I had not had the experience of seeing or painting it. The rose is a botanical I come back to again and again, for it symbolizes so much for so many. In my opinion, the iris is the show stopper. I am amaze
